Fashion and Editorial

Fashion and editorial photography are closely related and tell a story without words, focusing on the subject and their garments, usually combined with non-traditional posing techniques.

I personally prefer to tell stories through my photos. Each model has his or her unique personality that is expressed through a lens. Photography creates memories of the models for all who look, that ultimately influences how they feel about themselves. Photography not only presents fashion, but personal style, individuality, and yes even trends.

Business fashion photography is similar to fashion photography and is a mix of both. Being on set, learning how to capture the essence of a model, their vision, and direction as an artist, and as a photographer. I never want to separate myself from the modeling industry by making my work completely different than what is already on the market. However, I love to mix fashion and editorial photography in my portfolio. Fashion and editorial always intertwine because fashion is photography.
